Common error messages in the Logistra integration, what to do about them, known limitations, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Common errors

Message or symptomWhat to do
"Unable to edit consignment with status: Sent"The consignment is already exported and locked. Only consignments with status New can be edited. Create a new consignment, or delete the existing one in Cargonizer first.
"Requires servicepartner"The freight product requires a pickup point, but none is selected. Choose a pickup point. If the list is empty, check the postal code and that the carrier has pickup points in the area.
"No valid package types selected"No package type is selected. Choose at least one package type and a carrier agreement for the consignment.
"is exceeding amount available"The quantity exceeds what is available on the order line. Reduce the quantity, or check that the line is not already part of another consignment.
Error message from Cargonizer (varying text)Cargonizer rejects the consignment. Read the message carefully. Common causes are a missing postal code, an invalid country code, or a weight outside the allowed range for the freight product.
Tracking links do not appear in emailThe merge code %TRACKINGURL% is missing from the email template, or the consignment is not exported. Check that the code is in the template and that the consignment has status Sent or higher.
An expected add-on (e.g. Social control) is missing from the freight dialogEnabled On Order is not ticked for the option on the freight type, or the option does not exist in the carrier agreement. Open the freight type and tick Enabled On Order. If the option is missing entirely, check with Logistra whether the agreement includes the service.
"Invalid NVIT data"A required NVIT field is empty or invalid. Qty must be greater than 0, and HS no., Description and Gross weight must be filled in. Fill in what is missing.
"Invalid NVIT origin country"The country of origin is not a valid two-letter ISO code. Use for example NO, SE or DE, or leave the field empty if unknown.
Load metres is ignored in the price calculationThe value is not a number greater than 0, or is on the wrong package. Check that the Last meter field on the correct package contains a positive numeric value.

Known limitations

All logged-in users with menu access can perform all consignment operations. There is no fine-grained permission model.

The warnings about unusual weight or dimensions are only warnings and do not block the consignment.


There is no visual indicator of whether a consignment was created in the test environment (sandbox) or in production.


Automatic EDI transfer only runs once Telaris has set up the background job.


If Cargonizer does not respond during pricing, the fixed price is used, and if there is no fixed price the price calculation fails.


The list of freight options comes from the carrier and can change without notice.


FAQ

Can one order have several consignments?

Yes. Each time you create a consignment, you choose which order lines and quantities to include. The rest can be sent in a new consignment.

What is the difference between "Send to Logistra" and "Send EDI"?
Send to Logistra exports the consignment to Cargonizer. Send EDI reports it electronically to the carrier, so the carrier knows a package is to be picked up. Export must happen before EDI.

What is the difference between "Add freight" and "New consignment"?

Add freight creates and exports the consignment in one step. New consignment creates a local consignment with status New that you can edit before export.

Can EDI be sent automatically?

Yes. Set an automatic transfer schedule on the Cargonizer connection, and have Telaris set up the background job. You can still send EDI manually from the consignment list. See the setup article.


Can I edit a consignment after it has been sent to Cargonizer?

No. After export the consignment is locked. Delete it and create a new one if needed.

What happens if Cargonizer is down?

Export and EDI transfer fail with an error message. Freight pricing falls back to the fixed price if it is set. Consignments with status New are not affected.

Why is "Add freight" not shown on the picking list?

Picking list consignments must be enabled by Telaris, either for single order or multi-order. Without this, no freight button is shown.

What is physical delivery?

An internal registration that goods have been delivered without a carrier, for example pickup in store. No data is sent to Cargonizer.
